Are you feeling adventurous this summer? We have a great line-up of outdoor adventure excursions planned for every Wednesday this summer. Join us for some intense hiking and climbing, exciting bike treks, and beautiful canoe trips! There is no excuse to be bored this summer!
LOCATION: Trips will depart from and return to Maple Street Park
FEE: $60 residents / $70 non-residents (per trip)
NOTE: Bring your own lunch.

• June 25  - Ausable Chasm – We will take the ferry to Port Kent New York for a day of hiking the nature trails in the Adirondack Forest. We will take in the views of the waterfalls and gorges of the Ausable Chasm and enjoy a picnic by the water.
• July 2 – Mount Philo/Red Rocks – This trip starts with a hike to the top of Mt. Philo to enjoy a picnic and Frisbee game. After lunch we will hike the Red Rocks and go for a swim.
• July 9 – Canoeing Trip in Jeffersonville – Spend a day paddling in the heart of the Green Mountains in Jeffersonville. We will swim, picnic and view the wildlife.
• July 16 – Challenge Course and Swimming – Challenge yourself for a half day of high and low ropes courses at UVM’s Ropes course.  Conquer your fears and overcome challenges you have never faced before!! For the second half of the day we will enjoy swimming and a picnic.
• July 23 – Bike the Burlington Trails – Bike the trails from Burlington to Shelburne and stop for a swim and picnic on the way!!!
• July 30 – Red Rocks/Shelburne Farms Hiking – Hike the day away!  We will take a swim; enjoy the farm animals, and a nature picnic!
• August 6 – Canoeing Trip in Jeffersonville – Spend a day paddling in the heart of the Green Mountains in Jeffersonville.  Swim, picnic and view the wildlife.
• August 13 – Bike the Burlington Trails – Bike the trails from Burlington to Shelburne and stop for a swim and picnic on the way!!!
